In this article, I will be discussing the secret history of werewolves, drawing on my experience as a rogue hypnotist. I will be exploring the origins of the werewolf myth, the different types of werewolves, and the role of hypnosis in werewolf lore.

The Origins of the Werewolf Myth

The werewolf myth is one of the oldest and most widespread in human history. It can be traced back to ancient Greece, where the story of Lycaon is told. Lycaon was a king who angered Zeus by serving him human flesh. As punishment, Zeus transformed Lycaon into a wolf.

The werewolf myth spread throughout Europe during the Middle Ages. During this time, werewolves were believed to be real creatures that could be killed by silver bullets. The belief in werewolves was so strong that people often confessed to being werewolves under hypnosis.

The Different Types of Werewolves

There are many different types of werewolves in folklore. Some werewolves are said to be born with their condition, while others are said to be infected by a werewolf bite. There are also werewolves who are said to be able to transform themselves into wolves at will.

The most common type of werewolf is the classic werewolf. This type of werewolf is a human who transforms into a wolf during the full moon. Classic werewolves are often said to be unable to control their transformations and are driven by a bloodlust.

There are also other types of werewolves, such as:

  • Skin-walkers: These are werewolves who are said to be able to transform themselves into animals other than wolves, such as coyotes or bears.
  • Wendigo: These are werewolves who are said to be cannibalistic.
  • Dog-men: These are werewolves who are said to have the head of a dog and the body of a man.

The Role of Hypnosis in Werewolf Lore

Hypnosis has played a role in werewolf lore for centuries. In the Middle Ages, people often confessed to being werewolves under hypnosis. These confessions were often used as evidence in werewolf trials.

In modern times, hypnosis has been used to explore the psychological aspects of the werewolf myth. Some researchers have used hypnosis to regress people to past lives in which they believe they were werewolves.

Hypnosis can also be used to help people overcome their fear of werewolves. By understanding the psychological roots of their fear, people can learn to control it and live a more fulfilling life.

The secret history of werewolves is a fascinating and complex one. It is a history that is full of mystery, fear, and intrigue. As a rogue hypnotist, I have had the opportunity to explore this history and to gain a deeper understanding of the werewolf myth. I believe that the werewolf myth is a powerful story that can teach us a lot about ourselves and our world.
